Privacy Policy

Raidio is a generative-radio app. It streams from Raidio Cloud by default and can optionally connect an iPhone to the same user's Apple Silicon Mac on the local network.

Data collection

Raidio uses WorkOS to provide account authentication. WorkOS processes the email address or Apple account information needed to sign in. Raidio does not collect advertising identifiers, usage telemetry, or audio recordings and does not track users across apps or websites.

Data stored on the iPhone

Raidio stores authentication credentials in the device Keychain and stores the selected visual theme, station-control preferences, and selected owned-Mac device identifier on the iPhone. This information is used only to preserve the signed-in session and app preferences and to reconnect to the user's registered Mac.

Local-network communication

Raidio uses Apple's Local Network permission and Bonjour discovery to find and connect to an account-owned Raidio service. The cloud registry stores device ownership, readiness, and certificate fingerprints. Short-lived connection grants and station settings pass between the iPhone and that Mac.

Personal-Mac traffic uses TLS with exact certificate pinning and authenticated WebSocket channels. The personal stream is not exposed to the internet.

Device permissions

Raidio uses Local Network access for discovery and audio streaming. It does not access the microphone, camera, photos, contacts, precise location, or health data, and it does not record audio.
